A Beautiful Present

It was my Birthday early in December and I was very lucky to receive this wonderful pin cushion from Patti. I love the way she has finished it and I have it sitting on my needlework table all ready to use. The problem is that it seems so lovely I don't want to stick pins in it. So I shall have to keep it on display.

Yes the date on it is a dead give away of my quickly advancing age. It's funny how I never feel that old inside.

That is BEAUTIFUL!! Patti does gorgeous work. LOL about the year being a giveaway to your age. My husband uses his birth year as part of his passwords on things and just told me that he wants to change his password on his accounts to a later year so that he could be younger. ROFLOL

You know, you're only as old as you feel!!! That pillow that Patti made you is beautiful. I definitely would not want to stick pins in it either!!

Your present from Patti is gorgeous and I love the way the ribbons twist. How I agree with you about not feeling your age, I can give you 10 years but feel so much younger in my mind.
Thank you for sharing.

This is such a lovely present from Patti and having seen it INR I can honestly say her workmanship is a dream. She is so modest about her work too! The finishing with the twisted ribbon trimming really makes it special.
